And so should you. I truthfully love social media…. Facebook, Instagram. But not you, Twitter (I don’t understand it) or Snapchat (I rarely snap when I chat). Social media can be incredible. It’s awesome for self promotion, networking, keeping in touch with family and friends, etc. BUT…. it’s also draining, in SO many ways. Facebook, for me, is the worst.
1) It’s a time suck. Before I know it, my day off is half way over. All I’ve done is liked posts.
2) It makes you antisocial. You quit actually hanging out with your friends.
3) It presents cheating scenarios. Private messaging can be innocent, at first….. But, ooops….. Richard Cranium selfies in your PMs.
4) So much negativity. You hate everyone and everything, because of so many toxins coming from every direction.
I’m only giving four examples of why taking a social media break is a good idea. Try it for yourself. Let me know how it goes!!!
